About
I've spent most of my life in Southern Oregon, and I run Calculated Code from Grants Pass. I'm finishing a computer science degree at Oregon State — the tail end of it is graduate coursework in parallel computing and network analysis — which means I can profile a GPU kernel, and also that I know most businesses don't need one. What they need is software that fits how they already work, built by someone who will still answer the phone next year.
Outside of work I'm usually outdoors: rivers, rockhounding, the garden, something slow on the smoker. The more time I spend around farms, food businesses, and family operations, the more interesting their problems look to me. That's the work I want more of.
